RfGirls Fave Route.... one everyone should do...

a great route done either way... sweeping bends, fast bends, long straights, views that would take your breath away, some motorway..... but its a great day out, with plenty places to stop to enjoy the view...

cant argue, have done that route in a car,

have you done the glen fruin rd from Loch lomond to garelochead? really nice road.

:D ohh aye... Im fortunate to live just outside Glasgow, spoilt for choice on routes I am..

:-* just add destinations.. li started with my own post code and then just put in places I pass on the route and hey presto, it marks it on the map.. :-bd

My run to and from the Ponderosa, about 180 miles so just a tankfull if I'm carefull

But, unfortunately there's no really nice way home, so either turn around and go back, or onto A6 and M60 or through to Bredbury and onto M60. Sometimes I go over Mellor which is nice, but roads are tiny, busy and a bus route (diesel [-x )
